Michelle D. Grove is the art teacher for the Point Arena High School and Point Arena Union Elementary School. The focus this year is elements and principles of art mixed with math and science lessons.

Michelle Grove is originally from Pennsylvania and has two degrees, one in Fine Art, from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design; and an Art Education Credential from Millersville University. She has taught art for 3 years on the coast and says she is loving it!

She also goes on to explain, "Students are working hard here at Point Arena High School! Lessons we have completed include: a value study of shapes and forms; pen and ink drawings with pattern; expressive self portraits, with an emphasis on mixed media; coiled pots; Japanese soup bowls; imaginative figures; stained glass; watercolors; pastel drawings and much more!"
