Life Drawing

December 6 - 29, 2008
Upstairs classroom

Life Drawing exhibit Gualala Arts Life Drawing Interest Group has an informal exhibit in the upstairs classroom showing their work through December 29.

The exhibit includes different media: pastel, pencil, watercolor, ink and charcoal. The artists include Tom Warnock, Mike Mee, Jack O'Rourke, Dorise Ford, Esther Munger, Neil Metcalf, Bruce Jones and Arna Means.

Life Drawing meets at Gualala Arts Center, upstairs, most Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. People interested in drawing or painting live models should call Tom Warnock at 785-3668 or Mike Mee at 785-3999 and leave their email addresses to receive information on life drawing sessions.

The artists split the cost of the model and Mike makes sure we have at least five artists every week so it is not too expensive. If we don't get at least five sign-ups, Mike cancels the session. People interested in modeling are also welcome to call Mike or Tom. Models receive $20 per hour for the three hour sessions.

The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Old State Highway in Gualala, CA,
is open weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m.
