"Creative Spirit"
North Coast Artists Guild annual members' show

Opening Reception: Saturday, June 11, 5 p.m.
Exhibit remains through July 4th

"Creative Spirit," the annual members' show of the North Coast Artists Guild opens June 11 and runs through July 4 at Gualala Arts Center. The show will include works in many media: photography, oil and watercolor painting, pastels, fiber, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and everything in between.

The North Coast Artists' Guild was formed in 1997 as part of Gualala Arts to better serve the many artists in the Mendocino and Sonoma coastal communities, from as far south as the Russian River at Jenner, to as far north as Little River. There are approximately 90 members in the Guild at this time. Activities include the annual Showcase exhibit, Studio Discovery Tour held in September each year, exhibits in local schools, community involvement, membership meetings, an Internet list serve and website, and scholarship funding.

Please join us for a fascinating look at the Creative Spirit of the Guild artists as they present their annual Showcase. Entries must be received by Tuesday, May 24, and work must be delivered on June 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join the artists and other community members at the opening reception on June 11, 5-7pm.

Gualala Arts Center is located at 46501 Old State Highway in Gualala, and is open from 9 am to 4 pm weekdays, and weekends from noon to 4 p.m. Please call (707) 884-1138 for more information.
