Star DeHaven - Glass Art, and P.T. Nunn - Paintings & Sketches Opening Reception: Saturday, June 6, 2009, 5:00 p.m. Exhibit remains through July 1 Dolphin Gallery

The Dolphin Gallery will present a free exhibit of Star DeHaven's glass art and P.T. Nunn's paintings and sketches from the opening reception on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. through July 1.

Celebrate Summer this June at the Dolphin Gallery. Artists Star DeHaven and P.T. Nunn will show art works inspired by the light and bright colors of early summer gardens. Indulge yourself in coastal botanical exuberance.

Star DeHaven, well known as a stained glass artist, will also be exhibiting her new enthusiasms, fused glass and mosaic works. The photo at right shows one of her recent works, a garden green mosaic gazing ball dedicated to dragon flies with a stained glass piece in the background.

PT Nunn, known for watercolor coastal landscapes and seascapes, has new color sketches and paintings with a meditative focus. The subject matter includes gardens, forests and an internal landscape or two. Shown at left is a painting of the garden at Greenwood Pier Inn in Elk on the Mendocino coast.
