Gualala Arts Center
Spring Cleaning

Tuesday, May 12, 2009
Tuesday, May 19, 2009
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Spring has sprung. The birds are singing, flowers are in bloom and weeds are sprouting! It is time to have the Second Annual Gualala Arts Beautification Project.

Gualala Arts Center Spring Cleaning Last year's cleanup was an overwhelming success. We are going to build on what was accomplished with an eye on completing the new landscaping currently being done. Art Dreyer and the Tuesday Boys are in the process of building the De Prima Terrace. It is a very ambitious project! However, they could use some help with the weeding, mowing and dead-heading of flowers.

Gualala Arts Center Spring Cleaning We will also focus on inside projects such as cleaning up the downstairs storage areas, painting the conference room, and painting the auditorium - if time and room availability allow. If you have a special "clean-up" project you would like done, please come join us.

There will be four different work crews: gardeners, general cleanup, painters and food service.

The clean-up days are Tuesday, May 12 and Tuesday May 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You are invited to come for as much time as your schedule permits. Lunch, goodies and beverages will be provided throughout the day.

What do you need to do? E-mail Michele Marshall at geomichele@hughes.net to sign up for a work crew or call the Arts Center to sign up, 884-1138. It is important we know if you are coming, so we can have enough food to serve at lunch. If you are not able to join with the gardening, cleaning or painting, perhaps you can make cookies, brownies or other goodies to share?

Thank you for joining us in making Gualala Arts sparkle.
