Dedication of the Karel Metcalf Garden Terrace

at the Gualala Arts Center

It is finished. It is gorgeous. Now is the time to celebrate everyone who worked on the Karel Metcalf Garden Terrace that creates a marvelous new entrance to the center and a gracious space for outdoor entertaining.

First on the evening's agenda will be a formal thank-you to Karel Metcalf for her 18 years of service to Gualala Arts. Another thank-you will go to Art Dreyer who designed and directed the work on the terrace, and another to all the volunteers who spent over a year on the job.

Come join in an evening of lifting the filled glass with cheers and toasts. There may also be some "roasts." Rumor has it that plans are brewing, lyrics are being written to Tom Lehrer songs, and ideas abound on how to make this a very special event.

Following this celebration, at 6:00 p.m., will be a Dinners at Six event hosted by Sita Milchev and Team Five.
