Recycle Your Art & Second-hand Sale
A fundraising event for Gualala Arts

Saturday, March 18, 9:00 - 11:00am
at the Gualala Arts Center

Recycle Your Art & Second-hand Sale This Saturday, March 18, might be a good time to go "saleing" at the Gualala Art Center's "Recycle Your Art and Second Hand Sale". High quality household items, furniture, collectibles, and fine art can be purchased at bargain prices.

Recycle: Armoire Someone looking for more space to hang up clothes in a room without a closet can obtain a beautiful antique armoire complete with full-length beveled mirror and two deep drawers. We will have this on silent auction so come on in and put in a bid!

A wonderful old-fashioned ornate cash register with the popup numbers can easily become a living room conversation piece that will charm grandchildren who have only seen glowing digital displays at checkout counters. More than one "saler" with a good eye has turned a bargain into a profitable gain on E-bay.

Thrift-minded weavers can purchase a four-harness Jack loom with six treadles. It is 4 inches wide and four feet long with metal needles. It has one fine reed and one medium reed. The action is a bit stiff, but will loosen with use. The loom does not include a bench.

Naturally, no Gualala Arts event would be complete without artwork. This year's sale will feature a generous donation of art from the new owner of the Art Sea Gallery, Vivian Gideon. The pieces cover a wide range of subjects. Many have frames that by themselves would be worth the purchase price.

Plan to arrive early as the best items go quickly. The doors open for business at 9:00 a.m., but "sooners" often line up early and the sale ends at 11:00 a.m.

Located at 46501 Old State Highway in Gualala, the Arts Center is open weekdays 9 am to 4 pm, and weekends from noon to 4 pm. Please call (707) 884-1138 for more information.
