Thanks to Surf Market who went above and beyond supporting Winter Wonderland at Gualala Arts.  Owner Steve May says, “It is our mission to be a benefit to our community, and supporting the arts is an important part of doing that.”

Music will fill the halls while you shop in a wonderfully decorated arts & crafts holiday boutique of special hand made items from which to choose.

In addition to trees, gift-shopping at Gualala Arts remains an exciting option with many beautiful and practical gifts being offered by a variety of local artists and crafters. Carol Frechette has a selection of small, leather pouches. Ling-Yen Jones has jewelry for the ears, wrists and neck. The Pacific Piecemakers Quilt Guild has beautiful quilts for admiring, warming or both. There are also stuffed animals, beautiful accessories and more. Eric Nordvold’s pottery will be appreciated for its beauty and practicality. Andrea Allen brings her exquisite Chinese Brush Painting technique to both fabrics and ceramics. Harmony Arts Organic has beautiful fabrics there as well. Glass bead, bracelets and more of Kathryn Weiss’s jewelry are available. Emma Hurley’s North Coast Brine “Fishwear” will capture your imagination and your heart. Dennis Pederson, who’s often seen at Gualala Arts’ Clay Studio, has brought along many of his pottery pieces including a large selection of mugs. Monique Risch‘s Botanical Prints and Jewelry clearly reflect the colors of the California Coast.

There’s much to choose from and one can assume that any of these gifts will bring a smile to the face of those on the receiving end. And there’s a selection of Gualala Arts-branded merchandise you’ll appreciate as well.

The Holiday Raffle continues with more than $5000 in prizes to be awarded. Gift baskets, an oil painting and prints, cutting board, Vase, Quilt. and so much more. Tickets are $5 each, three for $10, and seven for $20.

Come see the remaining un-decorated trees at Gualala Arts, all available for purchase. There are also a few trees remaining from the Christmas Tree Competition, and are available for purchase.

Mrs. Claus is working overtime to fill her Bake Shoppe with home-baked ginger-snap cookies. There will be two of Mrs. Claus’ favorite pies: Apple, Pecan and Pumpkin (subject to availability). She’ll package all to take home, and these will be a great addition to the holiday weekend dessert tables when family and friends abound! You can also purchase a variety of Sees Candies.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will have their special mailbox to accept childrens’ letters to Santa with their wants and wishes throughout the Winter Wonderland! It’s cheerful good fun for the family that puts everyone in the holiday mood!
