It is so easy to take out your phone and grab that photo, but with a little knowledge and education, your photos can become not just “grabbers” but Keepers! You will learn about taking good selfies, group shots, and how to get good images in various situations–all with your phone. You can capture great landscapes , ocean shots, flowers, animals, fun selfies,  and make wonderful prints as well as sharing them online. We have been teaching photography for many years and have succinctly honed much of that knowledge into practical methods for the smart phones. It is a fun class and you will be happy with your phone photos.

We have great, simple “How-To’s” for utilizing the camera-phone that you have. We all have our phones with us most of the time and we will show you how to maximize the potential of your camera phone. The phones are smart, but we will make you even smarter and give you control.

Today, everyone is a photographer and we will help you be one of the better ones. Learn to how to get a much better photo with your phone with improved, easy techniques, and also learn about some great apps that are available that will help you create phone photos into images that you are proud of.

Susan and Neil Silverman are a husband-wife team who have taught and photographed together internationally and within the U.S. They have been leading their own workshops for over 20 years and previously taught for Great American Photography Workshops, BetterPhoto, Santa Fe School, PPA affiliates, PPC, B&H Photos, Pacific Northwest Art School, Gualala Arts Center, Santa Rosa Laguna, and the Santa Rosa Junior College.

Susan and Neil’s work has appeared as the cover of Outdoor Photography, in Elle Magazine, der Spiegel, Sierra Club, the Cure, the Audubon, Nikon World and more. They photograph extensively for the Santa Rosa Symphony.
