This year the genre is “Poetry.” Entries will be judged on literary elements of poetry, form, mechanics, originality and overall effect.

All full or part-time coastal residents from Elk to Timber Cove who have not previously had poetry published in a book or periodical with the exception of school publications are eligible. Previous contest winners in this genre are also not eligible as sponsors want to encourage new voices.
