Presentation & Demonstration by Marsha Heckman,

renowned author and flower artist,

on theme flower arrangements for summertime

events, holidays and a wedding on the North Coast

Marsha Heckman is the author of eight books, all with How-To components, and she is an expert on weddings, flower arranging, floral art sculpture, event planning and design. Her new book is A BRIDE’S PLANNER, published by Rizzoli New York this year.

Plated lunch also includes a complimentary glass of Mimosa, coffee and teas, and wedding cake for dessert.

Be a lucky winner of one of Marcia Heckman’s bouquets or her recently published wedding planner, local certificates and more.  For anyone planning a wedding or event on the North Coast, this is a perfect opportunity to take a guided  tour of the Arts Center surrounding gardens and event opportunities for weddings, engagement dinners, family events, and more.

Heckman, from Mill Valley, was honored to be a guest florist at the White House, and personally created bouquets for Malia and Sasha Obama’s bedrooms. She was featured speaker at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, “Art in Bloom” and a speaker and exhibitor at San Francisco’s St. Mary’s Cathedral Annual “Festival of Flowers,” and “Bouquets to Art” at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. Marsha is a popular returning speaker to Gualala Arts and has appeared at the local Frog Song Garden Fundraiser Event as well as giving demonstrations and book signings at The 4-Eyed Frog Bookstore. She regularly gives talks on flower arranging, floral art sculpture, and weddings, and conceived of and exhibits at the annual Mill Valley Community Center’s Dia de los Muertos celebration. Heckman is a certified Soul Collage instructor and an Airbnb Superhost.
