Everyone is invited to come to Gualala Arts Center for an afternoon of refreshments, conversation and concert in the newly named Coleman Hall. Long time supporters Alan & Janet Coleman will be on hand for the celebration. Alan was previous President of Gualala Arts, Co-Chairperson of Fund Development Committee that raised funds to initially build Arts Center and long-time Finance Committee member. Gualala Arts community is forever grateful for the vision; financial support and follow-through the Colemans have left to our community

The afternoon tribute will include the melodic guitars of Chris Doering and Tim Mueller during the champagne and cheese patio gathering. The onstage presentation will include a brief introduction on gratitude by Executive Director David “Sus” Susalla. Fred Adler will then explain his inspirations for the idea to rename our beautiful multi-use auditorium to “Coleman Hall.”

Next, Laura Leigh will read her Japanese Haiku poetry accompanied by Karl Young’s Shakuhachi flute.

In conclusion, three elegant classical pieces will be performed by the trio of Eric Kritz, clarinet, Marcia Lotter, violin and Carolyn Steinbuck, piano. They will play compositions by Mozart, Milhaud and Debussy.
