Felted VestClass will start with a morning of measuring and pattern / template making. Start the creative process of painting with wool fibers on silk fabric after learning about how wool shrinks and how to lay out fibers correctly. Use that information to your advantage so your vest comes out as planned. Learn how to recognize a “finished” felt.

You will leave the workshop with a vest that fits but might be a bit wet. Remember, felting is a strenuous activity.

Student prerequisites: Some felting experience is nice. Those with more experience will accomplish more in class. Students should be aware that felting is strenuous.

Lunch: Bring lunch if you don’t want to take a break to go out.

Instructor will supply: Template material, fibers and some embellishments, packing bubble wrap and all tools needed. Tools available for purchase after the class.
